Job Summary


Spot (by NetApp) is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive our growth in the United States. This is an opportunity to join a young rocketship that is now on a very steep growth trajectory as part of NetApp. We have helped customers such as Ticketmaster, Duolingo, VMWare and Demandbase to reduce the amount of human effort required to manage their Cloud infrastructure -- for web applications, container workloads, big data processing, and more. Our technology allows DevOps and Engineering teams to spend less time managing infrastructure, while better optimizing costs.

As a Sales Development Representative you will be an important member of the sales organization, playing a critical role in qualifying leads, profiling customers and providing input on which sales campaigns generate the best leads. Working in collaboration with your global peers, marketing, account managers and the partner channel, your objective is to identify and create qualified opportunities.

What You'll Do



  • Identify ideal customer profiles and perform cold outreach to drive sales pipeline and top of funnel growth




  • Qualify marketing leads in a fast yet efficient manner through multiple channels




  • Hitting outreach activity metrics using different channels of communication such as phone calls, email, social media touches, direct mail, etc.




  • Work closely with Account Executives and Solutions Architects to facilitate a smooth hand-off from early qualification to close




  • Preform lead qualification calls the determine which of our products is the best fit for the prospect




  • Collect feedback from prospects/customers to pass to engineering to make improve our products




  • Work with peers and cross-functional partners to share standard methodologies and strategize roadblocks through daily interactions or team meetings




  • Work with sales leaders and enablement on coaching, sales strategies and campaigns




Job Requirements


Qualifications



  • 1+ years of professional sales experience




  • Start-up experience strongly preferred




  • Positive attitude with a passion for a career in sales




  • Strong verbal and written communication skills




  • Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment




  • Impeccable customer skills: communication, empathy, integrity




  • Great references
