Reporting to the Director of Education, the Education Assistant provides clerical support and assistance in coordinating educational events for the SMHC organization as well as for the community.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Associate degree preferred.
Two years of clerical experience and experience in a people-oriented environment required.
Two or more years of previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) programs is required.
Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal skills, and the willingness to take initiative are critical.
Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of people are essential.
