Summary



  • Position Summary



    • Reporting to the Director of Education, the Education Assistant provides clerical support and assistance in coordinating educational events for the SMHC organization as well as for the community.




  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)



    • Associate degree preferred.


    • Two years of clerical experience and experience in a people-oriented environment required.


    • Two or more years of previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.


    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) programs is required.


    • Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal skills, and the willingness to take initiative are critical.


    • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of people are essential.
