As a Robotics Solutions Development Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and/or application of solutions to meet specific customer or market needs.

As a Robotics Solutions Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing new solutions for robotics inspection and monitoring services based upon customer and market needs.


• Working in a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users' needs.


• Executing a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, the performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs, and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed.


• Supporting all processes that proceed from concept to production to operation to customer feedback and satisfaction.


• Driving validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system-level testing.


• Defining product requirements for the module/component/subcontractors and partner teams.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline


• Have minimum of 5 years' experience in the design and development of remote autonomous systems, robotic systems, systems architecture, design, or system integration, and product development testing in Oil & Gas industry


• Have experience in either sales support or in a client-facing role which encompasses presenting to the customer for feedback.


• Be willing to work out of an office located in Houston, TX.

Desired Characteristics:

• Have a passion for automation software design with a talent for independently solving complex technical problems


• Have demonstrated the ability to work with international teams supporting automation development.
