Georgia Pacific Wood Products Division has an opening for a Reliability Engineer - Hydraulics and Lubrication. This Engineer will utilize leadership, will be the subject matter expertise (SME) in hydraulics and lubrication, and the ability to collaborate, to help plan and coach improvements in these areas at GP Lumber and Plywood Manufacturing facilities. This key position provides the opportunity to leverage resources, innovate technologies and continuous improvement programs to strategically position the facilities for growth.

What You Will Do In Your Role
- Leading and fostering a safe work environment that values risk identification and personal ownership.
- Maintaining a hydraulics and lubrication program aligned with business goals and straggles for sustainable asset health.
- Effectively coach, while seeking and sharing knowledge with others for learning and employee development
- Lead area in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
- Identify opportunities to engage with site locations to advance their hydraulics and lubrication processes, establish control plans and deliver world class performance
- Actively identifying issues and trends and use new technology tools and systems to create value
- Conducting audits on air processes/procedures/practices to ensure consistency within the programs and make recommendations of improvements
- Mentor and ensure KPIs drive overarching goal attainment
- Advancing a Market Based Management (MBM) culture
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- At least a minimum of five (5) years' experience in hydraulics and lubrication reliability
- Working knowledge and experience in developing and implementing lubrication programs
- Working knowledge and experience with sensor applications on critical systems
- Certification in lubrication (MLT, MLA, or CLS)
- Ability to read/understand/use hydraulic and mechanical schematics
- Working knowledge and experience in filtration and compressed air systems
- Experience conducting air audits
- Experience leading root cause analysis efforts
- Willing and able to travel up to 50-70%
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering field
- Wood products maintenance or reliability experience
