The IT Security Analyst oversees the enterprise security posture through active monitoring and management of security related systems and third-party security vendors, as well as execute the enterprise security stance through policy, analysis and training processes. Secondary tasks will include participating in the selection of appropriate security solutions, and enable execution of vulnerability audits and assessments. The IT Security Analyst will work closely with the DevOps, NetOps and PMO teams and with business unit stakeholders to positively enforce the corporate security vision and to solicit their involvement in achieving higher levels of enterprise security through information sharing and co-operation. The position reports directly to the Director of Network Operations.
Responsibilities
Assist with implementation and maintenance of the organization's cybersecurity plan.
Monitor compliance with various industry data security standards
Act as a Infosec SME by contributing to strategy and answering client inquiries
Implement organizational security standards and best practices.
Continually improve and enhance security posture of the enterprise.
Participate in scheduled security audits are conducted and develop/execute remediation plans.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Monitor the enterprise networks for security breaches/suspicious activities and investigate if they occur.
Meet system security financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assist in preparing an annual Infosec budget; manage expenditures; analyze
variances and initiate corrective actions.
Protects computer assets by developing security strategies; defining system controls and access management.
Develops security awareness by directing development of orientation and training programs.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating
in professional organizations; coordinating hardware and software evaluations with vendors.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in information technology/cyber security is preferred.
CompTIA Security+ certified 5 years of related technology work experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people at every level and in every department.
Risk analysis/assessment experience a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, supplier partners, management and staff is crucial
Familiarity with the logistics/relocation management industry a plus
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with securing Microsoft Office365
Proficiency with security related software platforms and protection/detection systems
Proven ability to meet deadlines while simultaneously working multiple projects
Experience with analyzing and solving problems of a complex nature
Ability to effectively work with others in a team environment
