Responsible for the day to day operations and growth ofa team within the OASIS/Coding department.
Responsibilities
Review Coding Only assessments and document recommended ICD- 10 Diagnosis codes/sequencing from documentation in patient chart
Enter results from review in appropriate fields of the database/client system
Maintains a 45% productivity level as compared to an coding only reviewer
Supervise all coders, conduct QA as needed and facilitate weekly team status calls
Assist with remote and on site kick off meetings as needed
Perform weekday and weekend OASIS tool management duties on a rotational basis, as needed
Contribute to budget and revenue planning
Lead a team or committee on a new service
Participate in hiring, training and reviewing performance of team members
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Certification in Home Health ICD-10 coding
LPN/RN/PT license preferred, not required
A minimum of 3 years of progressive home health coding experience
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills are required
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to effectively communicate by correspondence, telephone, and personal interaction.
Close attention to detail.

Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
