POSITION LOCATION: PHOENIX, AZ

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Server Administrator, AMSURG Cloud Services (ACS), is responsible day-to-day administration and monitoring of servers and applications at ACS Centers/Practices. This person will work with the ACS Team to maintain the existing servers and applications, perform upgrades and replacements of hardware, and assist centers/practices with evaluating new systems. In addition to day-to-day administration they will assist with implementations of new centers/practices that are being added to the ACS Team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build relationship with Center/Practice Leadership (Operations Lead, Center/Practice Leader, IT provider)


• Evaluate IT Security for the centers/practices and provide guidance where needed


• Evaluate current IT contracts and provide guidance where needed


• Create and maintain documentation for Center/Practice configuration and systems


• Establish best practices and assist with optimizing ACS policies and procedures


• Evaluate current IT equipment, validate against the ACS standards and recommend replacements for centers/practices as needed


• Coordinate line of business installations and upgrades with vendors, center/practice employees and the ACS Team


• Install, configure and monitor multiple Microsoft Active Directory environments to maintain consistency and security


• Complete HIPAA Risk Assessments for ACS Centers as required by the AMSURG Security Team


• Monitor and install security patches for all server operating system and applications


• Work with AMSURG Security Team to ensure that ACS Centers/Practices are in-compliance with the AMSURG Security Standards that are established


• Monitor server backups for completeness and accuracy


• Regular and reliable attendance


• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

Education/Experience:

• Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university or equivalent experience


• Prior healthcare experience is preferred


• Five or more (5+) years of IT experience in an enterprise environment


• Server management experience


• Network infrastructure experience


• Microsoft Hyper-V/VMWare experience


• Microsoft Azure / Microsoft 365 experience


• Windows Server and Active Directory Management experience


• SQL Server experience


• Work efficiently with minimal supervision.


• Ability to travel up to 25%

Must pass a background check and drug screen.
