TheData Analystis responsible for performing data analysis, discover data anomalies, data quality improvements, system analysis, data mapping, functional design and requirements gathering and modifications to existing SQL Server Cubes and ETL via SSIS/SSAS/T-SQL. This individual will be working closely with end users, ETL developers, Data Modelers / Architects, Report Developers and functional teams.

Job Tasks:

• Develops rules and methodologies for data collection and analysis.


• Ensures the integrity of project data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis.


• Consults with the external clients and internal staff to determine data management needs and objectives.


• Create and maintain data dictionaries.


• Ensure quality of data warehouse inbound and outbound data through review of interfaces.


• Research, analyze and resolve issues surrounding data. Work with functional teams to resolve data discrepancies.


• Meet with end users to capture standards and decision support requirements.


• Advises and consults with various groups on data issues.


• Rendering KPIs through role specific Dashboards and seamlessly integrating the data from multiple sources.


• Reports gap analysis, verifies data validation & analysis, capable to be conversant with data warehousing,

Minimum Education/Certifications:

• BA/BS Accounting / Computer Science / Business / MIS (or equivalent work experience to substitute for education)

Preferred Education/Certifications:

Minimum Experience:

• Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices.


• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server database.


• Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities required.


• Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills.


• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.


• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment


• Knowledge and proven working experience of data management and data warehousing principles


• Knowledge and proven working experience of business analytics, master data management, data


• quality and data integration tools
