Exciting work you will do:

We are looking for an Instructional Designer for this 4-month contract engagement in the Denver-area. Our client's Full Potential Rapid Replication team is looking for a generalist to support the development of "Rapid Replication Playbooks." The playbooks are project management tools central to Client's drive to elevate core-activity operating maturity across the company. This role focuses on synthesizing information related to complex mining-specific business activities into intuitive guides, driving results through influence, managing internal client relationships, and managing a workstream. This role will provide practical experience in scaling solutions within an industrial organization, executive decision-making, and project management.


  • Drive the development of Rapid Replication Playbooks

  • Manage playbook work plan, updating priorities and flagging risks as they emerge

  • Work closely with subject matter expert teams

  • Host 1:1 calls with internal and 3rd party experts, collecting and synthesizing feedback into an intuitive document

  • Drive working group calls, presenting work updates for feedback

  • Perform valuations on playbook opportunities

  • Engage with executive sponsors as necessary (with Rapid Replication manager), delivering insight into options and obstacles, and suggesting changes to approach as necessary

  • Manage workstream documentation and version control

  • Contribute to thought leadership and best practice definition

  • Influence stakeholders at potential playbook pilot locations

  • Manage playbook pilot activities

  • Develop and socialize playbook pilot plan, working with internal change enablement team

  • Participate in playbook pilot working sessions, providing support to pilot site stakeholders as required

What you will need:


  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills (very proficient in PowerPoint)

  • Strong analytical skills (ability to create basic cash flow models; 80/20 approach to problem solving; ability to break problems into constituent drivers and analyze independently)

  • Confident to voice independent thought

  • Attention to detail

  • Team player

  • Service oriented mindset

  • Fluent in English Experience

  • Minimum 1 year in management consulting

  • Mining industry experience is an asset but not required; any required technical knowledge may be learned on the job
