Job Description

TheTeam Lead, Billingworks with management, team members and process owners to determine root cause factors that contribute to unbilled revenues by organizing business/sales documentation and communication, assisting with Managed Services Program (MSP) and other WFS contracting processes, clarifying internal and external compliance directives with all stakeholders, and coordinating with AMN Sales and Business Operations partners. This role requires cross divisional understanding of AMN key stakeholders and demonstrates an ability to coordinate communication and activities that support reducing and driving down unbilled revenues.

Job Tasks:


  • Work with internal and external partners to identify areas of opportunity related to revenue back log and create process improvements

  • Performs QA on project deliverables and suggests best practice deliverables

  • Ensures all documented unbilled revenue issues are resolved by the due date and entries are reviewed daily

  • Manages, set priorities of, and successfully completes multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision

  • Act as a liaison between Clinician/ Associate Vendor and Client to help resolve any timecard related discrepancies.

  • Build relationships across Business Services, Sales, and Sales leadership as well as other AMN departments to foster team cohesion and performance

  • Coordinates all phases of project from initial planning to deployment and support.

  • Works on complex business problems, analyzing and evaluating current business methods and procedures for improvements

  • Maintains accurate high productivity level, and is able to take ownership of complex client accounts

  • Respond to inquiries and questions from internal and external customers via email, AMIE tasks in order to prevent escalated payroll/billing issues

  • Have a complete understanding of internal and external timecard entry escalation process in effort to maintain timely billing to client

  • Research and resolve timecard entry concerns stemming from other departments to improve cross-functionality across teams and ensure efficient problem resolution

  • Interpret contract terms as they relate to billing exceptions in order to accurately input data in alignment with client agreement and ensure client satisfaction.

Education, Certifications & Experience

Minimum Education/Certifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED certificate required

Preferred Education/Certifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience:

  • 1-2 years of related experience as a Project Manager

Preferred Experience

  • 2-3 years experience with custom and packaged system implementations
