About the role


The Maintenance Technician Level B is capable to carry out all duties and responsibilities regarding the performance of equipment maintenance and repairs, mechanical and electrical, while expanding skills within the Maintenance department in support of production activities. The position requires the employee to maintain quality and safety standards, ability to perform reliable work with attention to details, and demonstrate superior cleanliness and organization.


What you will do


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Practice safety standards as identified by the Company Handbook, orientation, and verbal instruction from supervisory staff. This includes safety glasses, proper shoes, lifting techniques, and safe chip handling.


• Maintain clean and organized work area.


• Have a general knowledge of equipment structure and functionality


• Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints regarding equipment components and assembly


• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics


• Capable of disassemble and reassemble machine components and other devices


• Capable of analyze equipment behavior in reason to identify potential problems


• Proficient with all maintenance tools and equipment necessary to perform the assigned tasks


• Ability to use measuring instruments such as caliper and micrometer


• Ability to carry out Preventive Maintenance routines independently and perform the scheduled maintenance tasks as needed

Working Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and chemicals such as oils and solvents. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. #CB
