Job Description:

Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

This role requires to measure, analyze, monitor, manage and transform data into insights that drive business value of APIs. Through use of data analytics, data visualization and data modeling techniques. Identify trends that can help lines of business, managers and executives to make business decisions to modernize and improve API Investments in the organization. Discover areas of where APIs assets play key roles in revenue contributions and identify where improvements can be made to save the company money or increase profits. By mining complex data using BI software and tools, comparing data to industry trends and creates visualizations that communicate findings to others in the organization. Provide leadership, best practices and technical direction to adhere to Chubb’s API Business Contribution Goals and success metrics set by Business and IT Leadership.

Qualifications:

• A successful candidate will be a key member of the API Platform Team, who will combine strong technical skills with business acumen and effective communication skills to bring complex data-driven solutions to life.


• The role requires an individual who has built end-to-end BI solutions and is highly motivated to take the responsibility for BI solutions from conception through to successful delivery.


• The BI analyst will engage with multiple stakeholders within the organization to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with unparalleled attention to detail and accuracy.


• A natural self-starter, you have a passion for using data to drive business decisions, are comfortable with writing SQL queries, data mining and visualization techniques, and are at home partnering with end users to deliver solutions.


• You will provide us with crucial insight into how we are performing as an organization, and if we are on track with our strategic goals.

 

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Business Analytics Dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies including SQL Server, Power BI, Excel etc.


• Analyze external data sources like Log Analytics, Azure App Insights, Stream Analytics, integrate with existing datasets and relate a comprehensive BI story.


• Build compelling, interactive and actionable reporting on top of structured data models that helps in deriving meaningful business insights from large, complex datasets.


• Supporting the full BI lifecycle from requirements analysis through design & development, and through release and support/maintenance phases


• Some of the reports that will be required but not limited to this set are:


• Daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for key performance indicators and provide analytics on them.


• Gather, publish & maintain information related to historical, current and future performance.


• Compile and analyze historical data and trends to forecast future trends.

Position Requirements

• Four-year degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. Advanced degree preferred.


• 1+ years of combined experience in business, accounting, or finance.


• Experience with Data Analysis and Visualization of Power BI Dashboards


• Experience with data integration of Power BI with SQL Server and Excel.

 

Technical Skills:

• Mandatory: Power BI Advanced capabilities, Advanced Excel, SQL queries knowledge


• Additional Preferred: Python, Microsoft Office Tools
