DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, analyze, develop, and review code. Test and post-release support to satisfy business and functional requirements. Collaborate with team members. Inform the team and other key stakeholders of progress of application business features being developed. Complete application development coding activities that satisfy requirements. Support the current production environment as tier 3 support. Participate in peer review of developed code and provide technical feedback. Participate in change management activities including merging code, completing change management documentation, and following code migration processes. Support application User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a Programmer, Systems Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will accept Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: Spring Framework; Hibernate; SOAP and REST web services; JAXB; JAX-RS; SOAP-UI; PL/SQL; JavaScript APIs; Junit API; JSON; HTML5; CSS; Git; JIRA; Maven; ANT; Jenkins; Oracle Database; SQL Developer; Apache Tomcat web server; infrastructure architecture disciplines and design patterns; architecture and design for integrating data across multiple applications; and participating in the Agile Software Development lifecycle including business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement.
