Product Managers are responsible for spanning a worldwide company to bring both long term and short term needs together from multiple business units to drive product planning and development. This involves interacting with many different business lines within the organization to maintain a forward view of product potential within Elekta’s line of software products. Multiple opportunities exist for highly organized, motivated professionals dedicated to making an impact in cancer care technology.  This is a senior level product manager role.

Summary:


  • Drive development priorities to meet established business objectives.


  • Assume responsibility for release planning, product specification and requirements, general support of development activities, regulatory compliance, and participate in rollout activities.


  • Build and maintain roadmap for interoperability products and align roadmaps to meet interoperability strategy


  • Ability to support, enhance existing ePrescribing service and design new ePrescribing solutions in compliance with the current regulations like MIPS, 21Century Cures Act.


  • Actively contribute in HL7 standards to influence and drive the standards in Radiation Oncology space.


  • Collaborate with sales in take in and prioritize requirements to design new HL7 interfaces and enhance existing HL7 interfaces to third party EMRs, pharmacy systems and oncology platforms.


  • Adapt new technology and standards with FHIR and CCDA and transform existing interoperability products to support the new standards and technology.


  • Conduct Community forums along with marketing and sales to bring product customers together and understand the market needs


  • Provide in-depth knowledge of competitive products as well as emerging products, services, and technologies being developed to address these challenges.


  • Support product promotion and sales efforts.


  • Handle escalated product issues and provide service training and support.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.


  • 8+ years of experience in EMRs, designing HL7 interfaces and ePrescription solutions.


  • 8+ years of direct product management experience in working with H7/FHIR


  • Ability to visualize long-term organizational strategy and motivate others to see the same.


  • Strong knowledge of HL7 interfaces, FHIR and CCDA


  • Strong knowledge of ePrescribing solutions and pharmacy systems.


  • Team player on both departmental and management teams.


  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


  • Ability to effectively interact with members of other departments.


  • Ability to effectively interact with customers (via phone and face-to-face).


  • Good organizational skills.


  • Good working knowledge/understanding of the general healthcare market.


  • Goof working knowledge and understanding of interoperability in Healthcare and the healthcare regulations.


  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to speak, read, and write English to deliver compelling presentations to senior-level management.


  • Travel up to 25%, domestic and international.


Preferred:


  • Expertise in FHIR and SMART on FHIR


  • Experience in product management, health informatics.


  • Business administration background.
