As a Segment Marketer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Creating digital marketing experiences & tools that help customers find the best 3M products to suit their needs across all segments and business models

  • Establishing a comprehensive and cohesive plan and process for collecting, synthesizing, and sharing market insights for more efficient strategic decisions

  • Consulting, Supporting and collaborating with global cross-functional teams to align on go to market operations & tools: ie CRM standards, Reporting, analytics tools, communication, and segmentation tools

  • Help business team and division marketing organization to translate business needs & objectives into innovative digital experiences & tools that achieve those business goals

  • Expert in customer needs, trends and competition, identifying opportunities to drive end-to-end activation in priority segments.

  • Support development of internal communications and dashboards to share progress with business stakeholders

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Three (3) combined years of experience in digital marketing, Marketing, Sales, and/or Business in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Documented immersion in digital media (blogs, websites, social profiles etc.) 

  • Experience with CRM systems (Sales Force, Siebel, Microsoft CRM)

  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI & Microsoft Excel

  • Strong project management experience, including strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to prioritize work independently and manage multiple programs

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-country, cross-division, and cross-functional teams and influence business outcomes.

  • Experience identifying and understanding customer pain points and translating into marketing strategies

  • Ability to use analytics to take projects effectively from analysis to insight and implementation

Travel: May include up to 30% international

Relocation Assistance: St. Paul Or Relocation or Remote considerations
