Job Description:

The French Program of the Department of French and Italian at the University of Pittsburgh seeks a part-time instructor for French 0103 (third-semester French) for fall semester 2021. Instructor will teach one 3-credit class that meets two nights a week for 1 hour 15 minutes per lesson (Tuesday and Thursday, 6pm-7:15) on campus. Instructor should have a Master's or BA degree in French or related field, native or near-native proficiency in French and English, and experience teaching French in a college or university setting. Instructor must possess broad competence in teaching introductory and intermediate French language courses that employ current foreign language pedagogical approaches (communicative, content-based, multiliteracies, and genre-based pedagogies).
