SUMMARY:

The Cigna Medicare Sales Enablement Sales Tools Specialist will be responsible for execution of Sales enhancements and issue resolution needed by the Sales Organization. The individual will be responsible and accountable for ensuring delivery and execution of production issue resolution, enhancements to existing tools, data issue resolution, and creation of reports necessary for the sales support teams.  This individual will work directly with the IT team to successfully deliver enhancements, upgrades, problem resolutions permanently as prioritized. 

The Cigna Medicare Sales Enablement Sales Tools Specialist is responsible for delivering initiatives critical to the Cigna's Sales operations and coordinating across various departmental and matrix partners to deliver critical solutions in support of the Government segment.

The individual in this position will work collaboratively across multiple functional areas to analyze, quantify, and validate the effectiveness of current business processes and systems; plan and execute business process Improvement initiatives; and integrate new initiatives into the existing platforms and processes. This resource will identify gaps in processes and support development and implementation of solutions. The individual will be responsible for a variety of projects ensuring their subsequent deliverables are met on time. This Sales Tools Specialist will analyze current solutions, and report progress on proposed solutions to keep leadership informed.  The Sales Tools Specialist will closely and proactively manage each deliver ensuring progress is occurring and aligned to meet committed deliverables.  This includes defining detailed requirements, communicating directly with IT to ensure understanding of requirements, understanding business impacts and drivers, communicating to end users progress and timelines, and ensuring timely implementations.

Achievements are largely dependent on successfully working across multiple constituents, the sales organization, and market leadership to deliver solutions that meet or exceed the needs of all stakeholders. This is accomplished by acquiring a deep understanding of all business processes, systems and matrix partner impacts; anticipating the needs of stakeholders to proactively design innovative, scalable, value-added solutions; breaking down complex problems and scenarios into easily understood parts and communicating to stakeholders of various levels; executing project plans per delivery expectations and timelines, and building and maintaining strong peer relationships with various internal matrix partners and external vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Build subject matter expertise across the Sales tools and delivering innovative, scalable solutions




  • Implements solutions for our Sales Tools  teams per business requirements, on time, within budget




  • Able to partner with functional areas (Sales Tools  team, IT, Contracting, Commissions, Training, Compliance, Sales Integrity, Sales Operations, Sales resources, Account Management teams), to ensure successful identification of business impact, system, process, and policy change needs




  • Support cross-functional decision-making and take ownership to drive compliant solutions




  • Accountable for delivery and implementation of Sales Tools which support virtual solutions  





  • Results-oriented with strong organization and planning skills; resourceful and self-directed




  • Ability to analyze and interpret Cigna Medicare legal/policy and regulatory changes and apply them to the business to ensure both efficiency and compliance




  • Ability to identify and clarify issues and risks related to system functionality and business processes, escalating them as needed




  • Anticipates issues in a project or plan and proactively solves problems before the business is impacted




  • Creates and communicates ongoing status for Sales Initiatives (metrics, trends, status, upcoming items, etc.) at the right level to the right audience




  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure business objectives and their subsequent deliverables are met as expected




  • Maintain strong, positive relationships with Sales leaders, business teams, Product, Marketing, Customer Service, Compliance, Finance and other matrix partners to successfully execute on deliverables



REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Marketing, or Communications, preferred or equivalent work experience




  • At least 5 or more years of work experience




  • Familiar with broker engagements & individual sales as well as lead generation opportunities




  • Knowledgeable of CMS Medicare sales regulations (MCMGs)




  • Medicare industry and product knowledge required




  • Customer-focused, conscientious, results-oriented individual with a passion for accuracy and quality




  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-performance culture




  • Experience working with Salesforce.com




  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, and through ambiguity identify opportunity to create change




  • Strong project delivery skills and able to achieve success in highly matrix environment




  • Self-motivated and proven track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation




  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects with varying delivery dates




  • Experience in developing and delivery of effective process improvement strategies




  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels and diverse partners




  • Strong analytical, innovative problem solving skills




  • Possesses a strong sense of urgency and extremely well-organized




  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment while managing multiple tasks




  • Experience supporting departmental leadership and other team members as necessary




  • Strong interpersonal skills and organizational agility




  • Ability to develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization



This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
