Job Summary

Come join our team as the Director of Data Solutions supporting the Direct Division! In this role, working remotely, you will serve as a leader to the Business Intelligence and Data Services teams. This role requires a professional who can engage with product, sales, marketing, technology and clients and can direct business intelligence and data service development based on the needs of the Direct Division. This role requires experience in software architecture and development with strong background in data integration and database management.

Essential Functions

• Define, execute, and support strategies for advancing data analytics in support of product development and business intelligence activities.


• Collaborate with product, technology, marketing, sales and enterprise teams.


• Manage and direct Business Intelligence and Data Services team roadmaps in support of product, marketing and sales objectives.


• Identify opportunities and develop solutions to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize data to provide usable information to the Direct Division.


• Leverage skills in handling large datasets to perform exploratory analysis and research market related circumstances.


• Support the business in using and understanding analytical applications.


• Establish teams to support the division's data needs.

Desirable Experience

• Recent experience directing the implementation and support activities for multiple applications and development teams.


• Experience working with offshore development teams.


• Strong relational database design and development background.


• Strong experience with ETL implementations from diverse data sources.


• Good experience leading teams in designing and developing solution architectures.


• Good experience engaging with executive management.


• Exposure to any of the following: NoSQL, PowerBI , Tablue and MDM solutions.


• 5+ years technical experience as a senior contributor


• 8+ years of management experience in a similar technical and business environment

Typical Education

• Typically requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
