Information Assurance Engineer

LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for an Information Assurance Engineer to support government client in San Antonio, TX.

Job Duties

• Assist the Chief Cyber Security Officer in the implementation and enforcement of the prudent system security measures for entire network to include, but not limited to Windows domain, web, Virtual Private Networks, Medical System Workgroups, Public Key Infrastructure, including, registration and documentation, private networks, and a wide variety of client hardware (including Intel-based personal computers) on Air Force (AF) and Defense Health Agency (DHA) networks.


• Contribute to management and operation of the Internet Security Scans and be capable of utilize technical security tools such as Wireless Enterprise Protocols.


• Validate the deployment and implementation of anti-virus software on servers and PCs.


• Assist in deployment and implementation of Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs), Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs), and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) issued by Air Force Computer Emergency Response Team (AFCERT) and/or Air Education & Training Command (AETC), policy, guidance, and appropriate software on servers and PCs in accordance withAir Force Instruction (AFI) 17-100,Air Force Information Technology(IT) Service Management, (section 7.4- 7.5, 7.7) and all other applicable security instructions.


• Assist in troubleshooting processes to include http, https, snmp, and smtp and security methods associated with networked computer environments.


• Assist in providing training tools for users to accomplish Cyber Awareness Training.


• Take part in audits with Government Information Assurance Officer (IAO) and Information Assurance Managers (IAM) and track and monitor reports when action items are identified during an internal or external audits/inspection. Receive and help AETC Inspector General (IG) Inspectors and AETC Information Assurance personnel during Operational Readiness Inspection (ORI)/IG inspections.


• Assist IAO with investigations regarding computer crimes, i.e., inappropriate activity on the official government computer/network (pornography, gambling, racist activity, conducting personal business transactions, etc.) perAFMAN 33-152, User Responsibilities And Guidance For Information Systems,(section 3.1-3.4, 6.2-6.9) and other related AF and DoD instructions and regulations.


• Assist in reviewing user agreements for accuracy including network access requirements, i.e., current IA Client Based Training (CBT) licensing for users.


• Conduct vulnerability scans and mitigation of vulnerabilities IAW applicable publications and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS).

Requirements

• Five (5) years' experience within the last five (10) years, including one year of specialized experience related to the task.


• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Clearance:Secret Clearance

Certifications:IAT Level II (Security+ce)
