What's the role?

The role of Corporate Communications Business Partner is responsible for partnering with functional content and business area owners to streamline as well as develop and execute innovative communication campaigns in support of stated business objectives and goals. This position will work closely with the functional Executive Management Team (EMT) and director-level partners, primarily in the Human Resources vertical.

What does the role involve?

Serves as primary point of contact and business partner to leadership teams in the development and execution of communication topics.

Partner with EMT and Directors, identifying communication goals for team; develop project or topic-specific plans and assets

Serve as liaison on communications planning and guidelines for human resources

Assist in developing skills to self-assess and implement effective communications strategies using a variety of delivery channels, assets, and platforms

Coach teams on proper use of company communication channels, assets and platforms; provide ongoing training

Provide oversight into use of media; approve communications, as needed

Provide consulting services to ensure the proper use of Hilti communications delivery channels based on projects and initiatives

Work closely with other Corporate Communications team members to integrate topics into communication calendar and other centrally managed delivery channels

Work closely with Corporate Media Manager to integrate the use of electronic or alternate media

Additional duties, as assigned

What you need is:

Bachelor's Degree in communications-related field

Master's degree, preferred

Minimum of six (6) to eight (8) years' professional communications experience

Demonstrated ability to present and articulate an organization's vision and to build consensus for new ideas and initiatives

Strong communication (oral, written, interpersonal) skills

Experience in a web-publishing and /or alternate media editorial capacity

Excellent writing, editorial, project management, and client service skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of functional groups

Ability to work independently and to take initiative in designing and launching new programs

Highly organized and attentive to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs and prioritize accordingly

Working Conditions:

Normal office conditions

Up to 20% domestic and international travel, required
