Job Description:

Fortinet is looking for a software engineer with strong IP networking and system design experience to join our team. This position provides a good opportunity to work on different stages of the product cycle. This position offers a large scope of experience and direct involvement with complex and innovative technology.

Job Responsibility:

• Develop new models and features for FortiGate products.


• Develop firewall features, such as session management, hardware acceleration, IPsec, Qos etc.


• Linux kernel/driver development for network processors and switch chips.


• Improve system scalability, availability, and performance.

Job Requirement:

• 5 + years' experience with C/C++ programming in a Linux environment.


• Strong knowledge with IP network protocols, such as TCP/IP, routing, switching.


• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.


• Experience with Linux network driver development is preferred.


• Knowledge and experience with network security is a plus.

Education Requirement:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science /Electrical Engineering or similar field.
