Associate Brand Manager, Pull-Ups®

Job Description

Support future growth opportunities on the Pull-Ups® brand marketing team.  This position will report to the Senior Brand Manager and take day to day work direction from a Brand Manager. Key customers include sector and business unit management, product development, sales, and marketing support teams.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Conducting in-depth analysis to identify problems, find trends, make hypothesis, create compelling stories and make sound recommendations about the brand, competitive, category, customer or consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and market performance.


  • Development and implementation of packaging and consumption strategies and plans.


  • Using strong general manager business insight in conjunction with marketing competency to influence and lead projects cross-functionally.


  • Coordinate, implement, and track progress on projects


  • Identify gaps and recommend solutions that improve performance of current marketing and innovation programs


WORKING CONDITIONS:


  • Travel up to 10% of the work time. Travel may also include business travels via aircrafts and motor vehicles to various locations.


  • Role is based at the K-C location in Chicago, IL


QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications:


  • BA with an emphasis in marketing


  • 2 to 3 years previous business experience


  • Solid knowledge of PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point)


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


  • Passionate about driving brand growth by better meeting consumer needs


  • Must be self-driven, not deadline driven


  • Experience working with cross-functional groups (e.g finance, operations, planning)


Preferred Qualifications:


  • MBA with emphasis in Marketing


  • Previous marketing internship or full-time experience at a Fortune 500 CPG company
