POSITION SUMMARY:

Operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. Load parts in machine and cycle machine, listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Run production lots, communicate with co-workers and maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Minimum 4 years experience as CNC Machinist.

• Must have good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools.
• Able to get along well with others.

• Able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 85 pounds, or heavier, repeatedly.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, squat and walk about the facility.

This job requires that an individual come into contact with raw materials, products, equipment / machines, software or technology controlled by the Export Administration Regulations or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. The job must be filled by a U.S. person, or a person for whom a valid export control license, or exception, has been obtained or is not required from the U.S. Government.
