Your Responsibilities

As a Program Manager for Controllers , at the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG - Urbandale), you will create program plans and schedules for electronic controller hardware related programs that align with strategic objectives, product roadmaps, and budgets. In addition, you will:

• Manage program requirements, control scope, and spear head the core team to ensure successful program delivery to established metrics - scope, schedule, quality, and investment.
• Lead alignment activities around portfolio execution working with product lines and other ISG units.

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)

• 3 or more years of technical experience in design, development, release, and support of electronic products
• 2 or more years of demonstrated program and project management methods and skills
• 2 or more years of experience planning and coordinating with cross-enterprise product delivery teams and management teams
• A minimum of 1 year demonstrated team leadership (directly or indirectly) and mentoring experience
• Skill in managing risk, managing change, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Understanding of John Deere (or equivalent) vehicles and implements
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, comprehension, and presentation)

What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)

• 3 or more years of Product engineering experience
• An understanding of Automotive or Off Road Hardware Quality Standards and the application of these criteria in electronic hardware
• Advanced degree
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business/Management
