Job Description:

Role Summary

Expertise in state regulations governing producer licensing and appointment and managing related compliance functions including: contracting, license verification, appointment processing for the Cigna +OSCAR segment. Knowledge of and adherence to internal policies and procedures. Act as a Lead Analyst and technical resource/project manager .

Responsibilities

Maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts at Cigna and Oscar in order to build mutual trust and credibility. Demonstrate commitment to achieving business objectives.

Ability to design and execute training programs for internal team members as well as external business partners relating to process, procedures, compliance rules and or systems.

Support the implementation of new systems and system enhancements in support of team functions and process improvements.

Analyze and respond to complex compliance/licensing producer requests from internal business areas and or external producers/business partners. Directs issues to Manager or appropriate resource as appropriate.

Proactively works with team and management to identify and implement improvements to integrate processes and streamline workflows.

Access the accuracy of technical changes through UAT testing: this includes ongoing changes to the Producer Operations systems as well as responsibility for testing new vendor system changes or new reporting capabilities.

Identifies and resolves issues independently among team, engaging manager as necessary or appropriate.

Understands technical functions of various systems used in support of Producer Licensing and appointment Operations. (Producer Manager, Producer Express, BIG, Broker, Reporting)

Minimum Qualifications:


  • College Degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an operations department.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn a substantial amount of information in a short period of time.

  • Proficiency in computer skills, database management and online searching.

  • Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Management or supervisory skills preferred.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to successfully handle competing and changing priorities on a continual basis.

  • Ability to independently handle issues with a high degree of complexity.

  • Effective decision-making skills.

  • Expertise with Microsoft services (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database)

  • Technical Troubleshooting skills.

  • Producer/Broker knowledge.

  • Operations Sales knowledge.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
