Network Operations Sr. Advisor - Work from home at Cigna in Bloomfield, Connecticut

The incumbent will be a member of the Network Solutions & Delivery team; responsible for leading and delivering on all aspects of Medicare network solution implementations, including designing network configurations and managing the provider data implementation for across Network Solutions and Operations (NS&O). The Network Manager is the primary point of contact for NS&O and works extensively with field contracting, Provider Relations & Solutions Management (PRMS), Market Deployment Managers (MDM's) and Strategic Solutions/Product to ensure networks solutions are effectively implemented. The Network Manager also works extensively with Network Operations partners and other matrix partners to ensure solution designs meet operating efficiency expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Design network solutions using networks within business and operational guardrails

  • Responsible for configuring the data to meet the requestor's need using operational sustainable capabilities

  • Perform data analysis in conjunction with solution design activity

  • Responsible for implementation of complex network solutions

  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy of provider data quality during implementation

  • Responsible for Network Solution Diagram package of artifacts

  • Monitor network solution performance and convene partners to resolve trends and opportunities and/or gaps

  • Assess performance of active networks to identify potential improvement opportunities

  • Establish and develop relationships with key partners

  • Develop and implement communication and reporting mechanisms to manage opportunities and/or gaps, risks and timely delivery of initiative results

  • Identify and minimize/prevent barriers that slow or prevent successful market implementation

  • Collaborates and influences matrix partners to ensure the appropriate action is taken to identify and implement initiatives to meet organizational goals as well as the network solution

  • Ability to assess and anticipate the needs of both internal and external partners to improve network solution

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Six Sigma training also valued.

  • 10+ years of experience working with provider data within the healthcare industry

  • Provider data knowledge and experience highly desirable

  • Experience with Medicare data is highly desirable for one of the openings

  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Proven ability to listen, understand and interpret information from others; to combine and reconcile information from a variety of sources (i.e. qualitative, quantitative, etc.)

  • Understanding of Cigna products, systems and structures needed to support the products is required

  • Ability to develop relationships across all levels of the organization

  • Results focused with a high degree of curiosity, intelligence, integrity and common business sense.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
