Job Description

Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist is a hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to Chromalloy's Engineering Center of Excellence (ECOE) and Chromalloy's corporate functions. The role serves as an advisor and partner to supervisors in the effective management of their workforce through employee relations, performance management, change management, talent and succession management, learning and development, employee engagement, leadership development and resource planning programs.

Accountabilities:


  • Act as the key HR contact point across for managers, supervisors and employees to communicate and manage all people practices and HR activities.

  • Partner with Managers and Supervisor to drive existing Performance, Talent, Engagement, and Values program.

  • Recruitment activities for assigned area. Partner with Business Leaders to develop workforce planning and effective methods to attract and retain employees.

  • Works closely with HR COE's and hiring managers for all pre-employment and onboarding activities.

  • Engage regularly with business managers and leaders, providing feedback for pro-active intervention and resolution of people-related concerns. Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.

  • Ensure all appropriate statutory and regulatory compliance requirements related to labor and employment are met. Consult with managers and staff on employee relations issues, conduct investigations and make recommendations in response to management and staff concerns

  • Provide project support for Global HR Initiatives in Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, Performance and Talent as assigned.

  • Build strong relationships throughout the organization. Establish trust and credibility with business leaders, COE's, and HRBP's.

  • Managing multiple priorities from different business leaders. Must be able to prioritize tasks and know when to reach out to COE's, peers, and supervisor for support

  • Business Partner: Commercially aware and able to link HR, People and Development matters with business goals. Ability to build effective working relationships


  • Project Delivery: Strong project management skills with the ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously.


  • Resourceful: Ability to work with moderate supervision, ability to create own objectives and align with supervisor. Ability to understand when making decisions are appropriate and when to escalate. Enthusiastic and credible.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business or other related field of study

Basic Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience required preferably in a manufacturing organization

  • 2+ year(s) experience managing employee relations required

  • Previous exposure to compensation, talent & performance management preferred

Travel: The position will be split between Palm Beach Gardens (75%) and Fort Lauderdale (25%).
