Who we are looking for:


For a highly motivated, collaborative, knowledgeable, and influential change agent individual to join Atkore's growing Cyber Security team as Vulnerability Management Analyst.



What you'll do:



  • Develop and execute a strategy for vulnerability management and risk reduction that aligns global best practices.

  • Configure vulnerability assessment tools, conduct scans, and analyze vulnerability results.

  • Drive prioritization and coordination of remediation activities across the organization.

  • Monitor and assess developments in the threat and vulnerability landscape, proactively providing security advisories to relevant stakeholders.

  • Produce detailed reports for key stakeholders, with factual documentation of the risks identified and clear recommendations for remediation actions for found vulnerabilities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.



What you bring:



  • An experienced technical background so as to be able to identify new threats.

  • Ability to communicate vulnerability results in a manner understood by the technical and non-technical.

  • The ability, energy and influential capability to drive change across the organization.

  • The ability to implement and monitor metrics and report out to every level of the organization.

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science (preferred), information assurance, MIS or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in Information Security, Vulnerability Management, or Security Operations.



What you will accomplish


Within 3 months, you'll:



  • Have completed your 'Immersion' on-boarding program and have met with all key stakeholders.

  • Have put together a strategy for Atkore's vulnerability management program, including identification of the potentially appropriate vendors.

  • Have an understanding of Atkore's network and all of our network protocols.



Within 6-months, you'll:



  • Be managing day-to-day threat and vulnerability management activities.

  • Have identified the vendor and tools needed to implement the overall vision for vulnerability management, based on a complete understanding of Atkore's internal network.

  • Have relationships built with all key program stakeholders.



Within 12-months, you'll:



  • Be actively driving change within vulnerability management across the organization.

  • Be remediating risk, demonstrating your success with metrics, and presenting results to senior leaders.

  • Be enhancing Atkore's overall security level by running a successful, well-oiled vulnerability management program.
