Project Description:

The IDEXX LPD (Livestock, Poultry & Dairy Diagnostics) is looking for an intern to support our marketing team in the Americas. You will be a part of bringing modern and emerging testing enhancements to the livestock industry to improve the health and comfort of agricultural animals. You will be encouraged to stretch your creativity, and to remain agile in response to our unique client base. As an intern for the LPD team, you will work with the team on paid mediacampaignsfor new product launches,follow up on leads and gather contact information, and other assignments as needed.

The IDEXX LPD teamfocuses on improving the health of the world's food animals. A global distribution network, an intimate knowledge of local conditions and languages and a seasoned, experienced staff make IDEXX uniquely qualified to provide laboratories, veterinarians and producers with diagnostic tests and technologies they can trust. Livestock and poultry producers, laboratories, veterinarians and dairy processors depend on IDEXX diagnostic technologies to make confident decisions about animal health, disease management and reproductive efficiency, and to ensure consumers have access to safe, healthy food and milk. Reproducibility, reliability and accuracy are three of the reasons why more than 1 billion IDEXX tests have been run worldwide since 1985.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must have completed at least one year of college in a Marketing, Communications, or Business degreeprogram




• A demonstrated pattern of high academic achievement




• Excellent general written and verbal communicationsskills




• Evidence of your ability to be a self-starter, and to work independently with limitedsupervision




• Strongpower point and excelskills

Due to the current pandemic, as it relates to COVID-19, our employees' safety and well-being are top of mind for us.
