Job Description:

This position is responsible to plan, execute, monitor, and direct the NA and EMEA Mainframe Education and Customer Engagement teams' performance. Work with the Mainframe Software Division to ensure the Mainframe Education and Customer Engagement organization effectively drives and supports our customers' needs, increasing Broadcom Mainframe product adoption and stickiness and improving customer user engagement.This position also has the responsibility to work with vendors and partners to ensure effective collaboration occurs to achieve customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Overall, this position is responsible for delivering positive results for Broadcom, and its customers and Partners across these areas:


  • Customer Focus: Oversee optimization of the overall customer or Partner experience across assigned territory

  • Leadership, Teamwork, and Planning: Collaborate and effectively work with Mainframe Software Division, All Software Divisions within Broadcom, Customers, and Partners.


Customer Focus


  • Direct Mainframe Education and Customer Engagement staff in acquiring knowledge of customers' needs and goals to effectively define training and programs that meet customers' needs.


  • Manage and track user engagement effectiveness of Mainframe Education and Customer Engagement programs through metrics and analytics.


  • Help team members build and maintain relationships with Senior Executives, Decision Makers, and Influencers.


  • Build long-term partnerships and trust.


  • Support sales teams to communicate education offerings and customer engagement opportunities and ensure they are delivered to the customer; Provide support via participation in customer meetings as needed.


  • Understand Broadcom Company and Mainframe Software Division vision, strategy and key customer initiatives


  • Advisory Council, Communities, Practitioner Events, etc. - Support sales teams to ensure that customers and Partners are consistently kept informed and engaged.

Business Travel and Physical Demands


  • Business travel of approximately 25 percent yearly is expected for this position.


  • Physical demands: Office environment. No special physical demands required.
