Job Summary:

The Apprenticeship Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the compliance component of the Company's apprenticeship requirements. Reporting to the Apprenticeship Compliance Lead, the Coordinator will manage, update, and maintain all apprentice records.

Essential Functions:

• Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".


• Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".


• Supports all compliance activities under the supervision of the Apprenticeship Compliance Lead and at direction of the Apprenticeship Committee.


• Adheres to all processes and procedures to ensure full compliance to all standards and governing bodies.


• Completes verification of all documents for any new apprentices and journeymen to enter the Apprenticeship Program.


• Maintains all work hours by employee and ensures documentation is completed and retained for audit.


• Works closely with Operations to ensure compliance with all ratio compliance requirements by site.


• Works closely with Apprenticeship Training Team to ensure accurate reporting and recordkeeping.


• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of administrative experience; construction experience would be considered an asset.


• Must possess high attention to detail.


• Demonstrated ability to produce written documents and reports.


• Strong organizational skills.


• Strong interpersonal skills.


• Strong computer Skills.


• Willingness to travel as required.


• Craft skills at a hands-on level would be advantageous.

PHYSICAL/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Position may require frequent travel and overtime.
