Job Summary

Clean and sanitize animal caging and accessory equipment

Job Responsibilities

1) Perform routine cleaning, descaling, and preventative maintenance on the cagewashers and autoclaves, including checking and cleaning filters and spraymanifolds.

2) Process clean caging and accessory equipment appropriately, including puttingbedding into cages and autoclaving cages and supplies.

3) Assist in sanitation and decontamination in all areas of the facility.

4) Understand and follow appropriate SOPs, safety procedures, and quality assuranceguidelines.

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic

Additional Technical Requirements

• Some knowledge of disinfectant use and operating knowledge of autoclaves, cagewashers, conveyer belts, bedding dispensers, bottle fillers and high pressure & steamcleaning devices preferred
