Product Development Associate

In this position, you will provide support for Product Development activities by setting timelines, managing project documentation and coordinating with key stakeholders. You will work closely with the Product Development Manager and Product Development Team on bringing new or materially modified products from conceptual approval to implementation, as well as other defined projects.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Supports bringing a new product or modification through its life cycle. Identifies key process owners, client contacts and pricing, updates client forms, internal policies and procedures, tests products, and coordinates client and internal launch notifications.


• Creates communications concerning time frames, progress, and project plans to meet deadlines; coordinates with Product Development team to deliver products/services on a timely basis.


• Assists the Product Development Team in the successful delivery of a new product within the defined time-lines and objectives. Executes strategy set forth by the Product Committee.


• Performs assigned tasks in the Product Development lifecycle, monitors progress and ensures projects are progressing according to their established timelines. Works meetings, minutes and supporting reference documentation for Committees.


• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves project lifecycle issues. Coordinates with appropriate stakeholders and process owners to work towards a solution. This includes analyzing data for purposes of seeing a project to completion, through challenges.


• Assist in the training of internal departments on new products as needed. Ensures archiving and maintenance of all supporting material.


• Plans and performs communication both internally via FYI's and e-mails, as well as, external client based notifications. Follows suit with using a preferred template.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a banking or financial services. Project management experience preferred.


• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college; or combination of education and experience.


• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project Sharepoint.


• Basic banking knowledge preferred, exp. in a Commercial Bank or with Cash Management or Deposit Product management services.
