As an IT Risk and Controls Analyst, you will play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by working with teams across the company to identify and make recommendations on information risk and control optimization.

If you're experienced in auditing IT systems and have familiarity with risk management practices, SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) Architecture, Security, Support and IT Operations, you're a great fit for this role. Technical capabilities aside, if you're a mission-driven, self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative culture, you're a perfect fit for Pacific Life.

How you will make an impact:


  • Define and conduct assessments across IT functions

  • Provide advice to management and users on information and systems risk and compliance.

  • Find creative and thoughtful solutions to a variety of compliance challenges.

The experience you'll bring:


  • 3 years minimum general IT control experience


  • Highly motivated and team-oriented


  • Excellent customer service skills


  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as experienced in handling multiple projects simultaneously


  • Excels in a fast-paced and evolving environment


  • Looks for new and creative ways to solve problems or improve processes


  • Issue resolution skills


  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to handle confidential information


  • Ability to work independently under general supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment


  • Effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills and skill in presenting findings and recommendations


  • Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, staff and external contractors/auditors, and to work effectively in a professional team environment


Education and Training:


  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, Information Technology or related areas


  • CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA or CRISC preferred
