Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

This contract delivers new equipment throughout the U.S.A. and overseas locations, and maintains equipment throughout warranty period.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform scheduled services on the Type 2 Heavy Crane


• Support the initial fielding of the Type 2 Heavy Crane to include initial operator training, product delivery, and general maintenance of the crane


• Support warranty calls and unscheduled maintenance for the Type 2 Heavy Crane

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to pass a background check to obtain a DoD security clearance


• Five (5) years of experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic with understanding of maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems


• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active DoD security clearance


• Proficiency on crane and construction equipment maintenance


• Knowledge of Army unit organization and maintenance management


• Heavy Crane operator license or certification
