Product Development Specialist

In this position, you will provide support for Product Development activities by setting timelines, managing project documentation and coordinating with key stakeholders. You will work closely with the Product Development Manager and Product Development Team on bringing new or materially modified products from conceptual to implementation, as well as other defined projects.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Supports bringing a new product or modification through its life cycle.Collaborates on creating client contacts and pricing, client forms, internal policies and procedures, testing products, client and internal notifications.


• Creates communications concerning time frames, progress, and project plans to meet deadlines; coordinates with Product Development team to deliver products/services on a timely basis.


• Assists the Product Development Team in the successful delivery of a new product within the defined time-lines and objectives. Executes strategy set forth by the Product Committee.


• Performs assigned tasks in the Product Development lifecycle, monitors progress and ensures projects are progressing according to their established timelines. Works meetings, minutes and supporting reference documentation for Committees.


• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves product development issues.


• Trains internal departments on new products as needed.Ensures archiving and maintenance of all supporting material.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a banking or financial services.Project management experience preferred.


• Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) preferred; or combination of education and experience.


• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project Sharepoint.


• Basic banking knowledge preferred, exp. in a commercial bank or with complex cash management products/services.


• Detail oriented with demonstrated org skills, ability to handle project plans, multi-task and follow up.
