Responsibilities
Coordinate the timely maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of all production equipment and some utility equipment.
Facilitate on time completion of scheduled and Preventative Maintenance and Work Orders.
Assist in developing a World Class Maintenance and Reliability Department.
Ensure effective communication between all maintenance shifts as it relates to scheduling, projects and all other relevant information.
Facilitate the successful resolution of recurrent equipment problems through team participation, equipment redesign suggestions and Reliability Tools that are made available to you.
Along with Maintenance Coordinator and team leader, participate in resolving member issues.
Lead and maintain continuous improvement efforts as they relate to equipment and process
Assist with the Maintenance Member's development and training to meet needs.
Hold members accountable for personal development and overall line performance.
Create an atmosphere of innovation and problem-solving utilizing continuous improvement tools within the Team.
Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrated experience and ability to coach and mentor others to higher levels of responsibility and skills
1-year supervisory experience is preferred
At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required
Demonstrated electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills are required
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. (PLC knowledge, a plus)
Strong communication, decision making and prioritization skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP are strongly preferred
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
An Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automated Manufacturing Systems, Supervisory Management, or related field required. Internal candidates who do not have an advanced degree must be willing to continue their education.
