Responsibilities

• Coordinate the timely maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of all production equipment and some utility equipment.
• Facilitate on time completion of scheduled and Preventative Maintenance and Work Orders.
• Assist in developing a World Class Maintenance and Reliability Department.
• Ensure effective communication between all maintenance shifts as it relates to scheduling, projects and all other relevant information.
• Facilitate the successful resolution of recurrent equipment problems through team participation, equipment redesign suggestions and Reliability Tools that are made available to you.
• Along with Maintenance Coordinator and team leader, participate in resolving member issues.
• Lead and maintain continuous improvement efforts as they relate to equipment and process
• Assist with the Maintenance Member's development and training to meet needs.

• Hold members accountable for personal development and overall line performance.
• Create an atmosphere of innovation and problem-solving utilizing continuous improvement tools within the Team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated experience and ability to coach and mentor others to higher levels of responsibility and skills
• 1-year supervisory experience is preferred
• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required
• Demonstrated electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills are required
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. (PLC knowledge, a plus)
• Strong communication, decision making and prioritization skills
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP are strongly preferred

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• An Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automated Manufacturing Systems, Supervisory Management, or related field required. Internal candidates who do not have an advanced degree must be willing to continue their education.
