Schneider Electric and impact investors led by Huck Capital have launched GreenStruxure NA to enable the energy transition for mid-size power consuming commercial and industrial sites. GreenStruxure NA will aggregate first class technological capabilities to design, build, own, operate and maintain modular and standardized decentralized behind the meter energy systems. These will be funded by optimal capital resources, will give hassle free access to commercial and industrial sites below 10MW to a cost effective, clean and more reliable energy source complementary to the grid, with zero capital expenditure from our clients. GreenStruxure will be the industry leader in Energy as a Service due to our successful sales teams and superior coordination with our sales channels.

MISSION:

GreenStruxure is currently seeking a Sales Director in the Southwest that has demonstrated consistent success in the distributed generation or energy market segment. We're seeking a qualified Sales Director working in a team environment to close energy service contracts with commercial and industrial clients. The successful candidate will possess market intelligence for their region to help guide forecasting decision making.

Our ideal Sales Director has a strong understanding of sales processes, and excels at quickly gaining trust and closing deals. We're seeking a quick learner with strong listening and negotiating skills, and someone with a presence who can showcase our offerings in a compelling way. This person will be tasked with giving presentations, understanding financial models and having experience with Renewable Energy, Battery Storage and/ or Generators. It's essential that this person be approachable and professional. His or her efforts will help us extend our global reach and help provide a positive environmental impact.

This individual will be a key member of the GreenStruxure team and central to the Company's success. Reporting to the CSO/Chief Sales Officer of GreenStruxure, they will interact regularly with the company's executives as they will be one of the team leaders in driving Sales of the energy system.

The individual must thrive with an entrepreneurial mindset in a new established team that is highly analytical and values initiatives, creativity, collaboration, perseverance and strong written and oral communication skills. The company is at its creation stage, so the successful candidate shall own the execution of first opportunities with other departments heads and executive committee to build standards and processes until the growth of business enables the successful candidate's future empowerment to build a team to handle the ambitious business goals of GreenStruxure.

OBJECTIVES FOR THIS ROLE:


  • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
  • Maximize the sales performance by establishing strong relationships with Sales Channels while quickly gaining insight to matching the needs of the client with our offerings.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales and activity quotas
  • Adjust team sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
  • Qualify, develop, and maintain thorough company and product knowledge, research consumer needs, and identify how our solutions can meet them
  • Work with Schneider Electric and Partner sales channels to vet opportunities
  • Develop and deliver proposals as part of a team selling approach
  • Utilize Salesforce.com tool to ensure standard processes during all sales stages

BACKGROUND AND COMPETENCIES:


  • Min 10 years exp. demonstrated ability to close in distributed generation or energy market segment
  • Experience and comfortable selling to executive level of clients
  • Knowledge of distributed generation or energy contract language (PPAs, ESAs)
  • Experience understanding financial models and customer financial decision-making criteria
  • Qualify, develop and maintain thorough company, product and services knowledge, research consumer needs and identify how our solutions can meet them
  • Comfortable in team selling environment for solution type sale
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms
  • Experience closing enterprise level deals
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and read situations well
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time within Region

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven success rate at levels above quotas
  • Strong organizational skills
