Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) VTR group is seeking forward-thinking, professionals interested in exploring a technical career as an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER.
The Versatile Test Reactor (VTR) electrical engineer will help design, test, build, and operate the United States next sodium cooled fast reactor.
The VTR electrical engineer will perform design and system engineering functions during the VTR design and operational phases. During the design phase, the electrical engineer will be responsible to ensure that electrical systems are designed to meet VTR requirements including applicable industry standards and Regulations. Perform traditional electrical engineering design functions including reviewing design deliverables, performing evaluations, interfacing with the EPC design team, developing test plans and procedures, identifying acceptance criteria, and ensuring the correct operating experience and standards are used to design the plant.
