OVERVIEW

The Accounts Payable Processor is the liason between the vendor and several inter-departments, most predominately the Merchandising Department, regarding Accounting related transactions.  The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for the processing of accounts payable invoices through a three way match, the resolution of escalated invoice and or payment issues and providing accounting reconciliations as needed.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Entering, coding and matching invoices.


• Respond to questions and concerns from vendors and internal customers.


• Various reporting activities using Oracle, Excel, Access, and Word.


• Creating deduction support.


• Scanning documents into record retention.


• Monitor and follow up on invoice and vendor holds.


• Other duties and projects as assigned by Director.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 
   Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.


• 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable.


• Proven ability to work with all levels in an organization.


• Hands on knowledge of ERP A/P system, Oracle knowledge a plus.


• Hands on knowledge of imaging system, OnBase knowledge a plus


• Strong organization and analytical skills.


• Very reliable; multi-task oriented.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.


• Must be motivated, flexible, mature, independent, reliable, proactive, and professional.
