Assist line operators in a safe and efficient manner by following their instructions Help assure a high level of quality and productivity on all inputs and outputs in accordance with Company, customer and product specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Properly help to setup the line to ensure that length, width, squareness, spacing, and flatness are all within customer specifications.


• Help to monitor machine process to ensure accuracy of the sheets and safe operation of the machine. 


• Help keep production moving and machine running by making sure more material is staged for future orders and material running on current orders is quickly and safely moved from machine and packaged per customer specifications.


• Performs all other related duties as assigned.


• Safely operate all material handling and packaging tools and equipment including but not limited to forklifts, overhead cranes, and banding tools

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience operating a steel processing line.


• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
