Currently seeking a Claim Adjuster Trainee to handle workers’ compensation Claims. The Trainee will participate in a training program that will lead to performing timely effective handling of assigned claims from a multi-state jurisdiction. This includes receiving new Notices of Loss from the Loss Reporting Unit, learning how to handle and maintain claims within departmental guidelines, following the best practices policies and guidelines as established for claims adjustment. The selected candidate will work from our corporate office in Sarasota, FL or Lake Mary, FL office.

Experience

• * Must possess or pursue a claim adjuster’s license within 90 days of the appointment to the position.


• * Basic knowledge of insurance principles.


• * Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgement and decision-making.


• * Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.

• *Bachelors degree preferred
