Job Responsibilities

As an Esthetician, you will perform Esthetic services including facials and waxing treatments.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

• Analyze and consult with client to determine specific needs and/or any allergies prior to treatment.

• Perform all types of skin and body treatments including facials and waxing treatments while following proper draping procedures.

• Massage head, neck, shoulders, feet and hands.

• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to upgrade clients’ services.

• Promote and actively sell skin care lines and other spa products and services.

• Prepare treatment rooms for clients, changing linens between clients.

• Perform opening and closing side work per checklists.

• Ensure guest satisfaction through proper technique.

• Encourage clients to re-book services and actively self promote within the community.

• Perform services in the pre-determined time scheduled while maintaining appointment timeliness.

• Stock supplies and maintain organization and neatness in Spa Dispensary and treatment rooms.

• Provide information pertaining to hours and available services of the Spa and hotel, i.e. restaurant, lounge, room service.

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Spa and surrounding areas.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated Esthetician with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; One year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must maintain a valid New York State Esthetics License.

• Exceptional customer service skills
