Responsibilities

New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury campus seeks part time/per diem Standardized Patients (SPs) to participate in a challenging, medical education clinical training program. Selected candidates will be trained to simulate symptoms and illnesses for routine medical student examinations, undergo practice physical examinations (no invasive exams), assess clinical skills of participating medical students and provide feedback to learners.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Standardized Patient and an Associate or Bachelor degree preferred. Extensive training is provided. Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills required. We offer competitive wages and flexible schedules.
