We are looking for a self-motivated Marketing Communications Manager to partner with our B2B Beauty and Personal Care business in the development and implementation of strategic marketing communication roadmaps and to support ongoing marketing communication activities. In this position, you will produce high-quality content that engages customers across a variety of channels and builds brand recognition.
Your primary duties will include writing and production of printed and digital content, being the liaison between assigned business segments and the broader marketing communications team and building brand awareness for our company's products and services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organizational skills, who also can translate technical and complicated details into engaging marketing messages that resonate with the beauty industry.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Gain a deep understanding of assigned business segments to become the content expert
Develop strategic communications plans for assigned business segments
Create communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions
Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing content and materials for both traditional and digital channels
Write product collateral in all forms-product flyers, bulletins, white papers, brochure, website, advertising and social media
Conduct content research, fact-checking, media monitoring, and report creation
Additional Details:
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, business or a relevant field
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role or with related experience within the beauty or personal care industry
Proven experience in creating targeted content is advantageous
Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
Experience in the development of strategic communications plans Ability to lead business teams through the evolution of marketing communications approach to a more relevant sophisticated approach
Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure with competing deadlines
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Strong English oral and written skills
This position may require travel up to 10% based on business needs.
This position may be located in any major metro area.
Preferred Qualification
B2B agency or corporate experience in marketing communications
Beauty or personal care industry experience, preferably in natural ingredients or additives space
Experience with promoting natural, derived-natural, and organic materials a plus
