Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to serve at US Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) Headquarters in Ft. Lee, VA . The Logistics Analyst will help develop updated water planning factors and Water Planning Guide for Logistics planners across the Army. Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

Conduct research into potable water requirements, including literature reviews, interviews, and site visits.
• Consolidate information from numerous sources into a single data base to serve as baseline for "Potable Water Planning Guide."


• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of logistics operations, including application of analytical and simulation models.


• Synthesize project findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance.


• Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations.


• Coordinate and staff recommendations with multiple agencies.


• Assist in marketing of consulting services, including market research, teaming arrangements, competitive analysis, and creation of marketing publications.


• Assist in business performance assessment and reporting.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree required. Degree in engineering, finance, economics, operations research, mathematics, or a related discipline preferred.


• 10 years of work experience.


• Army knowledge/experience required. Working knowledge of Army Sustainment and water operations preferred.


• Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet, database, and project management software.


• Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.


• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.


• Current U.S. Government security clearance preferred, ability to obtain one is required.


• Available for occasional travel.
