Position Overview

This position will have primary responsibility for managing CRH’s Global Speak Up Hotline and the related case management tool and will assist in building out and improving CRH’s overall Speak Up program. This position will require management of highly confidential information and communication with all levels of business leaders and employees within the organization.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.


  • Promptly review and triage all incoming reports to the Hotline (identify risk level using both specified guidelines and professional judgment, notify appropriate contacts, assign investigator)

  • Input Speak Up reports received outside of the Hotline into the case management tool (“CMT”)

  • Monitor on-going report investigations (“cases”) in the CMT (follow up on progress, ensure workflow is followed, communicate with local management if necessary)

  • Manage case closures (review investigation summaries for completeness, ensure integrity of investigations and that proper outcomes and remedial actions are identified)

  • Work closely with senior managers of Legal and Compliance, Internal Audit, Security, and Human Resources on the Speak Up program

  • Communicate with business leaders throughout the organization on various topics related to the Program, including Hotline reports, investigations, statistics, and trends

  • Use of discretion in managing highly confidential information

  • Maintain business data and configurations in the CMT (stakeholder/investigator access, organizational structure, business names, settings)

  • Work with Hotline vendor’s support team to ensure any technical issues experienced with the Hotline or CMT are resolved and that any requested updates to configuration are made

  • Assist in producing and formatting regular reports on the Hotline, such as case metrics, benchmarking, and trend analysis for various levels of the business, Internal Audit, and the CRH Board

  • On an ad hoc basis, assist with various Speak Up-related initiatives, such as awareness campaigns, case studies, communications, and training programs

  • Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company 

  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required 

  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Education/Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 3+ years of experience related to legal/compliance, hotline administration/case management, and/or data analysis

  • Preferred experience with hotline/case management system(s) such as Navex or GAN Integrity

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analytics and reporting is essential

Work Requirements


  • Must be 18 years in age or older

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook

  • Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required

  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
