This position inspects incoming materials, in-process materials and finished product against defined quality standards. Reviews and maintains all documentation for completeness and compliance with good documentation practices.
This position will report to the Division Quality Manager. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Must have the ability to deal with people across all levels of the organization including inside and outside sales employees. Position requires ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form in order to present information and respond to questions from others.
* Review and process batch records and audit completed batch records received from production, assuring documentation is complete and accurate. File and scan completed batch records and pick tickets.
* Inspect in-process and finished product against defined quality standards
* Create, track and ensure closure of non-conformance and corrective action records
* Inspect incoming materials against defined quality standards
* Assist Quality Engineer with internal and customer quality audits. Complete customer quality questionnaires and statements.
* Assist Quality Engineer in sending out change notifications to customers
* Maintain Training Records
* Evaluate Calibration records and maintain Equipment Calibration Log. Review test data against acceptance criteria.
* Maintains Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Compile performance metrics and post/distribute
* Schedule required testing
Hourly Rate of Pay $16.00 -$19.00.Overtime work may be required depending on the business needs. Benefits Insurance-Medical, Vision, Dental and Life. Vacation - Paid Sick time and Quarterly Bonus.
* Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Must be able to read engineering drawings
* Knowledge of Quality Regulations
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect small visual defects
* Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds
* Positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic
* Will be required to gown up and go into a clean room for extended periods of time
* College degree preferred
