We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for Temporary Production Workers to join our team for the 2021 harvest (Generally September through November) at Columbia Crest Winery in Paterson, WA.


What you will do:



  • Assist Operators in setting up equipment, pumping grapes and wine to tanks and barrels, chemical additions, sanitation, and other cellar work as needed.

  • Responsible for the various duties relating to the completion of work orders, safety checks, wine processes, reporting off standards, wash down and clean up, performing specified equipment maintenance and sanitizing work area.

  • Shovel pumice.

  • Maintain a positive relationship encouraging strong communication and teamwork.

  • Operate presses or other winery equipment.

  • Perform light mechanical duties.

  • Work with hazardous chemicals, operate equipment with moving parts.

  • May be required to work in confined space.

  • A significant amount of overtime is required during heavy production periods and some shift work may be required.

  • Heavy physical labor necessary.

  • Able to pull 60 lbs. on cellar floor, turn empty barrels., set barrels on pallets, and shovel pumice.

  • Able to work on concrete floors all shift.

  • Able to work in Confined Space.


What you will bring:



  • Must be 21 years of age minimum (Alcohol)

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions.

  • Must pass a confined space and lockout tag out training course.

  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
