Position Purpose
In this role, you will become a part of a group of individuals working together as a team that will be challenged to operate high speed, advanced manufacturing equipment safely, effectively and efficiently. You will work to ensure and maximize team performance and results through skill, diversity and development. As a member of the team, you will contribute your individual skills and talents to help advance team goals and objectives.
 
Skills Required

• Able to stand and walk 90% of the shift


• Able to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs.)


• Ability to work safely in a multi-functional team environment


• Ability to handle multiple priorities


• Problem solving and decision making skills


• Motivated self starter


• Must maintain excellent safety and attendance performance


• Good communication and listening skills


• Beginning pay for qualified candidates is $17.54 per hour

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency


• Must be eighteen years or older


• Ability to read and write basic English


• Basic math skills


• Basic computer knowledge


• Basic mechanical aptitude


• Ability to maintain a work schedule of 12 hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.


• Position requires regular physical effort including pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending


• Legal right to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• One year manufacturing/industrial experience


• Post-secondary education (two or four year degree)


• North Carolina Career Readiness Certificate


• Completion of the Certified Production Technician (CPTAE) program
